Christina has been an advocate for the Performing Arts in Pueblo for over 30 years. She started performing in Pueblo at a young age and has been a paid entertainer in Colorado for 28 years. She co-founded the Pueblo Children’s Chorale in 1996 and has been the Executive Director for the past 25 years. She created Upon A Star Singing Telegrams & Entertainers in 2010 and continues to entertain many each year.
Being involved in pageantry either as a judge, emcee or contestant for the past 30 years has been a highlight in her life. She has held several titles: 2014 “Supreme Queen” with the Bright Future’s Pageant; 2015 Ms. Colorado; 2018 Ultimate Grand Supreme Miss Elite Colorado and “Queen of Queens” 2019 with the Little Miss Colorado Pageant. She was recently (Oct. 2020) crowned Ms. Elite National USA 2020 with the Little Miss Nat’l USA Pageant.
She has been honored to receive the “Best of Pueblo” – GOLD winner “Best Performer” 2014-2018 and nominated for the 2017 YWCA Tribute to Women for Community Service. Christina was recognized as an “Outstanding Woman of 2019” from the Pueblo City/County Library District.
She taught music at two Christian Schools for five years (1997-2002) and volunteers as judge for DECA, FBLA, pageants, talent competitions and also volunteers with Junior Achievement.
She has been married to her wonderful husband Mark for 28 years (January 1991) and they have one son, Dane.
Disneyland is her home away from home and she now takes high school choirs and bands to the parks for their Disney Performing Arts experience. You might find her occasionally auditioning for Disney because her dream is to sing for “Voices of Liberty” at Epcot.
